Description
Centricity Condos is an upcoming pre-construction condo development by the renowned Graywood Developments. Located at 241 Church Street in the heart of the Garden District, a highly dense sector of the downtown core in Toronto, Centricity Condos is the epitome of urban living. This new development is set to make its mark in early 2023 and is poised to offer residents a unique and unparalleled living experience in the heart of the city.
Toronto is one of the most vibrant and bustling cities in the world and the Garden District is the epicentre of it all. The area is known for its bustling city lifestyle, world-famous Eaton Centre Shopping Mall, Dundas Square, City Hall and many more attractions that make this neighbourhood a vibrant urban centre. The area is also home to the Toronto Metropolitan University and is walking distance from the University of Toronto and the George Brown College St. James Campus.
Connectivity is at the heart of Centricity Condos. This new development is located in the heart of Toronto at the crossroads of Yonge Street and Dundas Street, the two busiest roads in the city. The transit network of Toronto rests on a grid foundation formed by major streets such as Yonge, Dundas, Bloor, Queen, King and University, making travel across the GTA simple and convenient. The location of Centricity Condos is just five minutes away from the Dundas subway station and has a walk score of 99 out of 100. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) offers robust public transit options with major subway lines, streetcar lines and bus routes converging within the downtown district. The Union Station hub in the southern end of the Entertainment District connects to the UP Express Train, which in turn connects to the Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Mississauga. The GO Transit infrastructure and VIA Rail provide intercity transit options across the GTA and beyond.
Nature and greenspaces are abundant in the area. Parks such as the historic Allan Gardens and Moss Park are just a stone’s throw away and offer residents a chance to escape the city and connect with nature. Unique neighbourhoods like Church & Wellesley and Cabbagetown are just a short walk away, ensuring that there’s always something fun or interesting going on nearby.
The building itself, designed by Turner Fleischer Architects, will feature a 53-storey rectangular and angular design. The iconic bank facade at street level will give way to sections of windows framed with white aluminum, which will get thicker as the building rises, creating a dramatic gradual change in the window shape towards the top of the tower. While the full list of amenities for the building has yet to be released, residents can expect a high standard of resident amenities including fitness rooms, shared spaces for hosting and more, with the level of polish and modern furnishings that have become synonymous with Graywood projects.
